Meet Sassy and Beautiful 23 year old Sthabiso  Mteliso who breathes a breath of fresh air into the Miss Universe Zambia Organisation. She takes over from Andella as the reigning Miss Universe Zambia.

On 1st June 2009, the Miss Universe Zambia organisation announced the scores of the online competition that had been held for six weeks.

The winner emerged as 21 year old Andella Chileshe-Matthews.
For the first time ever, the winner was chosen by the public via online and text voting.

Unfortunately, her reign was short lived as she, together with her mother, embarked on a campaign to spread malicious and false innuendoes about her National Director. She was immediately dethroned as soon as she returned
from the Miss Universe 2009 competition which was held in the Bahamas.
